Web Design
I am a web and graphic designer based in San Francisco. I focus on front-end development using XHTML+CSS, and create websites from start to finish using Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Javascript and content management systems (CMS). In addition, I provide graphic design services including creating illustrations, corporate logos, and animated HTML emails.
As a front-end developer, I handcode my websites with clean, semantic code. Furthermore, I pay close attention to web standards and best practices, so that all my websites are bulletproofed for usability, search engine optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
Unlike many web designers, I am able to go above and beyond by utilizing my experience in business, branding and marketing. Prior to my current work in web design, I worked in investment banking at Citigroup Salomon Smith Barney before becoming a PR consultant at Weber Shandwick. Subsequently, I was responsible for Marketing and Branding in China for Standard Chartered Bank.
I have a BA in Economics from Yale University and studied Web Development and Graphic Design at New York University and Pratt Institute of Manhattan.
