Our Founder
Mr. Tan Gaik Eng is a Chartered and Registered Valuer with over thirty years of experience in the real estate industry. He is a member of the Institution of Surveyors, Malaysia and is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, England. In 1977, Mr. Tan began his professional career with the Treasury Valuation Department of the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia. From 1979, he practised as a partner at C.A.Lim & G.E.Tan Sdn Bhd for thirteen years. In 1992, Mr Tan founded G.E.Tan & Associates. Currently, the company employs over 100 full-time employees and has a dominant presence in its key markets.

G.E.Tan & Associates is licensed and registered with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents, Malaysia, within the ambit of the Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Act 1981. We provide a complete range of property services through our three company divisions :

G.E. Tan & Associates is known as a premier professional services company in Penang with a reputation for differentiated local knowledge. With over a hundred full-time employees, our Property Management division provides maintenance, cleaning, security, billing and a full suite of other services to the properties under our management.
We are also on the panel of valuers recognised by most of the country's major banks and provide our clients with valuation services to satisfy loans, accounting, litigation and other purposes.
In addition, our team of real estate agents utilize the Company's wide-reaching network of contacts to help connect buyers and sellers, landlords and renters. Our strong reputation makes us one of the leading facilitators of real esate deals in Penang's dynamic marketplace.
